Nicely done

I’ve been playing the violin for 3 years and I need a practice bow. I was shocked by the reasonable price and great quality of this bow. The bow came through quickly as I chose the expedited shipping for free (That's definitely a plus). The package though was a little bid damaged when I received it. The material they use for shipping looks sturdy. I guess it was due to rough handling by USPS. Luckily, the package was not just lost as it happened to another shipment. Fortunately, the shipment was double packaged, so the bow was not damaged at all. The horse hairs are real Mongolian horse hairs that are thick and strong, took the rosin well. The bow claims to be 100% hand made with half-mounted ebony frog with shell slide. It apparently has all the details very well and beautifully made. So far, it played good. I will see how long it lasts. Anyway it’s a wonderful practice bow for beginners and students for the price and quality. I will need to get one more just to keep an extra bow in case with the violin that I always do. Always keep extra bows.

Loving it!

I'm 65 years old and just started my learning. I never thought it was too late. And after half a year, I am playing several pieces now, thought very simple ones. It is true that violin is very difficult to learn just as rumor has it. But I'm making progresses after each day's practice. This is not my first bow but it is the best so far. I wasn't expecting something advanced of course, after all it is only $20. It surprised me quite a bit. Firstly, it is much easier to handle. It also draws a clear and nice sound with good balance throughout. Moreover, it takes the rosin well, though needs a lot for the first use. I have bought it for 2 weeks now and I'm loving it. I recommend this bow to anyone who is at my level. It is the correct bow to buy and will help improve your skill.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality

Didn't expect too much of this bow at this price. But it plays well with nice hair, well balanced with good response as described. Definitely worth buying.
